Here is our Demo/shop rig!
1994 LS400 1uz engine mated to a Toyota R150 transmission. We cut all the IFS suspension of and installed a solid axle from a 1984 Toyota in its place. The axle was completely disassembled and beefed up with new bearings, ecoseals, longfields, wide axle kit, and a high pinion elocker diff from a FZJ80. The diff was loaded up with new Yukon 4.88 gears and all new bearings, solid spacer, and a 4 pattern drive line flange. For the rear axle we used an elocker from a 2003 Tacoma and again used Yukon 4.88 gears, all new bearings and solid pinion spacer and a 4 pattern drive flange as well. For protection we added our in house sliders, and roof basket fitted with a DV8 32″ LED light bar. The front bumper is a modified Sky’s bumper and a Warn XD9000i is fitted with Spydara synthetic rope. The rear end has a Toyota swing out tire carrier from a 1991 4runner. On the interior we have fitted an ARB fridge on a slide out, NWT Compressed CO2 tank, chain saw, recover gear. Last but not least for those weekends that we are going out into the wilderness we have fitted an ARB roof top tent!
Here’s the newest rigs we have added to our fleet. Both these trucks are the duel cab LN106 Hilux trucks. They came from the factory with the Toyota diesel 3L engine. Both have manual transmissions, 4.30 limited slip differentials. If you have questions, please feel free to ask.
