Hilux / Pickup / 4Runner Heavy Duty IFS Steering Box Mount

Our Heavy-Duty IFS box mount kit allows you to install a 1986-1995 IFS-type power steering box to your 1979-1985 live axle frame, and includes a 3/16" frame support plate, grade 8 hardware and top formed cap.

Converting your 1979-85 push-pull type steering box to the IFS type steering box converts your truck to a cross-over type steering style which is stronger and has far less bump-steer in lifted applications.

Made in America with laser cut USA-steel, this Power Steering Box Mount Kit saves time, simplifies, and strengthens High Steer Crossover Steering Conversions for a long-lasting box mount solution that won't leave you stranded on the trail with a cracked frame!

1986-1995 IFS owners can also use this kit to strengthen their existing/factory box mount frame bracket, which is important considering how much larger the loads are at the steering box when Rock Crawling with larger tires.
